Attorney Ben Zeltner of Levine Staller Sklar Chan Brown & Donnelly, P.A. has been selected as the first recipient of the “Adding Life to Years” award from BERON Jewish Older Adult Services of Atlantic County (JOAS), a nonprofit social services organization based in Atlantic City.

Established in memory of the agency’s founder, Audrey Perskie, the award was given to Zeltner in recognition of his 27 years of service to the organization, which helps older adults maintain their independence and be actively involved in the community so they can live with dignity.  A variety of recreational, educational and medical services are available.

“Ben Zeltner was a natural choice for this award, given his many years of dedication to his volunteer work, and especially his compassion for the very people who benefit from our work – the elderly of Atlantic County,” said Adrienne Epstein, Executive Director of BERON JOAS.

Zeltner joined Levine Staller in 1991 and was named a partner in 1992.  He focuses his practice in the areas of real estate, commercial transactions and tax appeals.

He is committed to a number of other community organizations as well, volunteering his time as a trustee and President-Elect of the AtlantiCare Foundation, and as a member of the Board of Directors of United Way of Atlantic County.

He resides in Linwood, N.J. with his wife, Nancy and two children.
