Experiences
John Donnelly practices in the area of commercial litigation with a concentration on litigation in employment matters, casino law, consumer fraud, shareholder disputes and construction. He is experienced in contract, class action, condominium litigation and real property tax appeals.
John has served as general counsel to two publicly traded casino corporations. He was Vice-President, Legal to Resorts International, Inc., which operated the first casino in New Jersey. He founded and chaired the Casino Law Section of the New Jersey Bar Association.
He served as casino representative to the U.S. Treasury's Bank Secrecy Act Advisory Group on CTR Compliance. He recently represented two successful candidates for casinos in Pennsylvania. He has litigated a variety of complex commercial matters, including real property tax appeals for casinos and a variety of business separations. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in employment litigation.
